Operations Assistant
Job Description Example
Premier Talent Partners is searching for Operations Assistants for several of our clients. Operations Assistants will be entrusted with managing the day-to-day functions of our client’s offices. Candidates will be measured by organizational excellence and the creative solutions you bring to the table.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the daily functions of the offices including but not limited to: reception, shipping and receiving, ordering supplies, and new hire orientations
- Keep the company well-fed by organizing delicious company lunches and stocking our kitchen with a refreshing and healthy variety of snacks and beverages
- Serve as the trusted go-to person for office-related questions and needs to set our team up for success
- Partner with the People Operations team on employee experience and driving our unique company culture
- Constantly be on the lookout for new and exciting ways to make our office a more vibrant, environmentally responsible, and fun place to work
- Partner with the People Operations Manager on events held in our office, i.e. birthdays, anniversaries, happy hours and other important milestones
- Ensure monthly All-Hands meetings operate smoothly and in coordination with other office locations across the state
- Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, building landlord and handyman
- Lead facilitation of office moves, expansions, maintenance and new equipment installation
Qualifications/Experience:
- Office Assistant experience in a fast paced environment
- Familirarity coordinating with multiple vendors and facility management
- Entrepreneurism: Ability to fully own projects and processes
- Ownership: a sense of empowerment to resolve your own problems, make decisions, and trust your own good judgement
- A service-oriented mentality and a willingness to proactively identify, own and resolve issues around the office
- A passion for creating memorable experiences and building new things
- Impeccable attention to detail and an interest in office aesthetics
- Multitasking is second nature
- A calm sense when things get hectic
- A collaborative attitude
- Willingness and ability to implement changes and process improvements with confidence
- Basic experience with MS Word, Excel and Google Calendar / Google Docs
