Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruitment and selection process
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics

Qualifications

  • Proven working experience as HR manager or other HR executive
  • People oriented and results driven
  • Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Experience leading or supporting diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and accessibility initiatives
  • Commitment to unbiased and equitable hiring, with a focus on outreach to historically marginalized communities

Responsibilities:

  • Upholds an employee-focused corporate culture that places a strong emphasis on creativity, high performance, exceptional resident care, and ongoing growth.
  • Keeps abreast of and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local labor and employment regulations, such as the FMLA, HIPPA, ADA, COBRA, ACA, CFRA, PDL, and other necessary regulatory legislation.
  • With a deep awareness of organizational needs and regional variations, oversees and coordinates job class research, including job description development and compensation survey analysis.
  • Oversees and carries out strategic hiring procedures based on ongoing market trend analysis and research
  • Creates, puts into practice, and oversees purposeful onboarding procedures that highlight business values and guarantee each employee has a good start.
  • Oversees the procedures of staff development and accountability, and provides managers with training, monitoring, and continuous performance metrics evaluation.



Compensation:

  • $115,000 - $130,000 / year
