Responsibilities

  • Prepare correspondence and legal documents for contract negotiations and proceedings
  • Analyze conflicts in legal matters and advise clients on solutions
  • Communicate with senior associates, paralegals, and clients
  • Conduct legal research
  • Consult with clients
  • Coordinate and filing all discovery documents
  • Maintain client files
  • Prepare for and attend hearings and/or other legal proceedings
  • Provide legal counsel with the help of senior associate attorneys
  • Review discovery cases and providing updates to attorney

Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Discretion and confidentiality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Completion of a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Successful completion of the bar exam
  • Valid Law License
  • Ability to work with senior attorneys to best serve client needs and grow our client base
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Solid communication skills and problem-solving skills
  • Intermediate accounting skills
  • Proven experience practicing as an Attorney within your chosen specialty

Job Highlights

  • 100% Remote but if located in San Francisco Bay, Los Angeles, or Houston Hybrid (3 days onsite/2 Remote)
  • Must have 3- 5 years of experience with employment, wage and hour claims, PAGA claims, FLSA claims, class, and collective actions. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Writing sample is required to apply


Compensation:

  • $100,000 - $150,000 / year
