Responsibilities

  • Identify financial, safety, or security risks that the company or organization may face
  • Prepare a budget and action plans to decrease risk factors
  • Gather confidential financial information from client such as income, assets, and debts
  • Perform risk evaluation, which assesses the way the company previously handled risks
  • Make adjustments to current operations in order to minimize future risks
  • Prepare risk management and insurance budgets
  • Explain the external risk posed by corporate governance to stakeholders
  • Conduct policy and compliance audits
  • Review any new major contracts or internal business proposals

  • Presentation skills, including public speaking and presentation creation
  • Detail-oriented and meticulous
  • Strong working knowledge of risk management
  • Previous experience working in a risk management role
  • Thorough understanding of the business or organization's goals and values
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Excellent numerical skills
