Job Description Example

Premier Talent Partners is looking for talented marketing professionals to fill Marketing Specialist roles for a number of our clients nationwide. Candidates applying for Marketing Specialist positions will be responsible for driving the success of inbound leads via digital marketing and PR.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Press/Interview - facilitate company appearances in the press and schedule/facilitate interviews and public events for C-Suite
  • Plan and create press releases, distribute on appropriate platforms
  • Plan, create content and drive attendance for company webinars
  • Email Automation - generate demand from our prospects and customers via email blasts, drip email campaigns, and A/B testing
  • SEO – drive traffic to the website and adjacent content via search engine optimization
  • SEM – optimize search engine marketing campaigns including pay-per-click such as sponsored results (Google Adwords, etc.) and retargeting campaigns (AdRoll, etc.)
  • Update and maintain company’s social media including, but not limited to LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram
  • Blogs/adjacent content - Create and manage content for blogs and other web pages
  • Analytics - closely monitor metrics including conversion rates for all marketing initiatives
  • Assisting with organizing internal and external events
  • Assisting with product marketing and the creation of distributable documents
  • Supporting customer relations and partnership programs

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field
  • 3 or more years of marketing experience (digital and traditional) in a corporate, or agency environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access), Adobe Creative Suite, and CRM and CMS software
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Experience using analytics software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
