2 or more years of previous experience in Homecare Durable Medical Billing, with experience in Medicare/Medicaid, HMO
Must understand all aspects of insurance reimbursement and posting
Experience in billing specialty equipment such as Ventilators, IPV’s, and Respiratory Assist Devices, Supplies Billing, i.e., Tracheostomy, Enteral, Suction, etc.
Works efficiently with referrals, case workers and payors to maintain timely prescriptions, authorizations and re-qualification of coverage as needed
