Celebrate Women’s History Month with a Women-Owned Business
As Premier Talent Partners founder and CEO, Sara Menke is driven by her passion for changing lives.
Early in her career, Menke realized she had a gift. She understood people and was able to help them find their purpose in life. In 1998, that gift, coupled with the belief that most people undervalue their skills and abilities, led her to launch Premier Talent Partners and begin her mission to revolutionize the employment sector by creating more equitable hiring.
Menke sees endless opportunities for growth in the employment sector and feels that success will hinge on harnessing diverse talent. She went on to found and lead Ajna: Premier Talent Partners’ unbiased talent software. Ajna looks beyond resumes and creates a holistic candidate profile that uses skills, experience, culture, and values to create exceptional matches between employers and job seekers.
As a women-owned and led business, Premier Talent outpaces the competition.
With a company culture that celebrates diversity, Premier Talent changes the staffing industry rather than accepting the status quo. By constantly innovating and focusing on making changes that help people, Premier Talent doesn’t just make placements and find jobs for people. They create connections that lead to business growth and professional development for all.
Working with women-owned and minority-owned businesses has many benefits.
When you support women or minority-owned businesses, you:
Generate a diverse workforce.
New perspectives and life experiences drive innovation, productivity, and profit for clients and create opportunities for candidates.
Close the gender pay gap.
Many men make more money than women doing the same job. Supporting women-owned businesses can help close this pay gap and create more equitable hiring practices.
Broaden the talent pool.
Businesses need access to the widest possible talent pool to remain optimally staffed in today’s talent war. Diverse, equitable, and inclusive hiring ensures access to unique talent—and creates opportunities for all.
Gain tax incentives.
As an incentive to support women-owned businesses, the federal government provides tax breaks to companies who conduct business with a WBE Certified or minority-owned business.
Attract high-quality candidates.
Many of those seeking employment opportunities prioritize working for a diverse company. This is particularly true for Millennial and Gen Z candidates who want to create positive change in the world. Showing support for women and minority-owned businesses is supporting diversity—which helps businesses be more productive and profitable and creates a preferred work environment for job seekers.
For over 20 years, women in leadership have fueled Premier’s ability to change lives. As we forge on, we’re excited to introduce you to our new dream team:
