Responsibilities

  • Support planning and coordination of a program and its activities
  • Manage communications through media relations, social media, etc.
  • Help build positive relations within the team and external parties
  • Schedule and organize meetings/events and maintain agenda
  • Ensure technology is used correctly for all operations (video conferencing, presentations, etc.)
  • Prepare paperwork and order material
  • Keep updated records and create reports or proposals
  • Support growth and program development

  • Proven experience as program coordinator or relevant position
  • Knowledge of program management and development procedures
  • Tech savvy
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Ability to work with diverse, multi-disciplinary teams
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and efficient

job highlights

  • 3-month contract, full-time: 40 hours weekly
  • Required to work two (2) Sundays a month from 7 am to 10 am.
  • Bilingual: Spanish and English are required.
  • Weekly social media posts and daily email reminders to enhance communication with volunteers, ensuring consistent engagement and shift attendance.
  • Support volunteer stewardship efforts, including birthday emails and outreach, to foster a sense of community and appreciation among volunteers.
  • Track volunteer hours and leader contributions, while also providing support for data dashboard maintenance and system updates to streamline reporting processes.
  • Lead registrations and provide logistical support for food pantry operations, including intake processing, database management, and client assistance, to ensure smooth program execution and community outreach.
