Job Description Example
Premier Talent Partners is looking for talented marketing professionals to fill Marketing Specialist roles for a number of our clients nationwide. Candidates applying for Marketing Specialist positions will be responsible for driving the success of inbound leads via digital marketing and PR.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Press/Interview - facilitate company appearances in the press and schedule/facilitate interviews and public events for C-Suite
- Plan and create press releases, distribute on appropriate platforms
- Plan, create content and drive attendance for company webinars
- Email Automation - generate demand from our prospects and customers via email blasts, drip email campaigns, and A/B testing
- SEO – drive traffic to the website and adjacent content via search engine optimization
- SEM – optimize search engine marketing campaigns including pay-per-click such as sponsored results (Google Adwords, etc.) and retargeting campaigns (AdRoll, etc.)
- Update and maintain company’s social media including, but not limited to LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram
- Blogs/adjacent content - Create and manage content for blogs and other web pages
- Analytics - closely monitor metrics including conversion rates for all marketing initiatives
- Assisting with organizing internal and external events
- Assisting with product marketing and the creation of distributable documents
- Supporting customer relations and partnership programs
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field
- 3 or more years of marketing experience (digital and traditional) in a corporate, or agency environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access), Adobe Creative Suite, and CRM and CMS software
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Experience using analytics software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Highly organized and detail oriented
