As we find ourselves in the midst of an unprecedented global crisis, I wanted to take a moment to reach out to you on behalf of Premier Talent Partners. While most of our communities are still in the process of calibrating a response to these events, we recognize that the effects of COVID-19 have already had sweeping impacts on our nation and the world around us. For many of you, the impacts have already struck close to home. On behalf of our Premier family, I want to offer our unwavering support—to you, our greater community, and beyond.
With your health and safety serving as our top priority, we want to ensure that you are fully educated on the regulations that have recently been implemented. Officials in the Bay Area have mandated countywide “shelter-in-place” orders through April 7th. New York has also already established a similar lockdown. As of 12:01 AM Tuesday, March 17th, everyone must stay home, only leaving the house for essential outings (i.e. going to the grocery store, the pharmacy, or leaving to seek or deliver medical care). Most businesses have closed, with the exception of banks, pharmacies, gas stations, and grocery stores. There could be legal ramifications for ignoring this “shelter-in-place” and/or leaving your county at any time.
Going outside for exercise or to walk the dog is encouraged, however—as long as you are alone or with family, and keeping a 6-foot minimum distance from others. In an effort to keep our spirits up and our bodies healthy, Premier employees are all setting personal goals to stay active during the quarantine.
